Provide an artist photo and a brief biography or description. These will appear in your storefront player.

To add your artist photo:
From the main menu, choose Add Content. On the Add Content page you can choose Add Artist Photo from the Actions drop down menu. Make sure it is in a jpeg (.jpg) format.

To update your artist bio/description:
From the main menu, choose Edit Artist Info. On the Edit Artist Info page you can add your bio info in the Description field. There you can also add your artist website or social networking website profile link (such as www.yourband.com or www.myspace.com/yourband).

Once you have encoded your mp3s as suggested in Step 1, you are ready to upload your music for sale. When you upload an mp3, you should upload the PRODUCT version first and then repeat the sequence and upload the SAMPLE version. In the Add Content process you can easily tie PRODUCTS and SAMPLES together as you upload music. You should take advantage and use all 5 free track spaces offered. To summarize, you will be uploading 5 PRODUCT (high quality) version mp3s and their accompanying 5 SAMPLE (low quality) version mp3s. Tracks are priced at .99 cents each. Once they are successfully uploaded and registered, they will appear in your storefront player for sale and download. **Remember that you must own the rights to any content you post or upload.

Adding a PRODUCT mp3 for sale:

1. From the Main Menu in BAMS, go to the select Add Content.
2. In the Add Content page, on the Choose an Action drop down menu, select Upload Single Audio Track and click Continue to the next step.
3. Add track info for the XYZmp3 database (this is in addition to the track info your mp3 may already have embedded in it when you did your encoding).
4. Click Browse and select the PRODUCT version of the mp3 (better quality).
5. Click Upload. Please allow time for the upload. It is recommended that you have a broadband connection (DSL, Cable, T-1). Wait for the file copy progress bar to finish (in IE it’s typically at the bottom of the browser.
6. Upload completed. You can click to add another track or go back to the main menu page.

Now you will repeat the process to add the SAMPLE version.

Adding a SAMPLE mp3:

1. From the Main Menu, go to the select Add Content.
2. In the Add Content page, on the Choose an Action drop down menu, select Upload SAMPLE Single Audio Track and click Continue to the next step.
3. Add track info for the XYZmp3 database (this is in addition to the track info your mp3 may already have embedded in it when you did your encoding).
4. Click Browse and select the SAMPLE version of the mp3 (lower bit rate).
5. Click Upload. Please allow time for the upload. It is recommended that you have a broadband connection (DSL, Cable, T-1). Wait for the file copy progress bar to finish (in IE it’s typically at the bottom of the browser.
6. Upload completed. You can click to add another track or go back to the main menu page.

Removing an mp3 (PRODUCT or SAMPLE):

1. From the Main Menu, go to the select List/Remove Content.
2. From the list of content check which items you would like to remove. (PRODUCT items removed will no longer appear for sale and will need to be uploaded again. This also removes the accompanying SAMPLE track as well.)
3. You will get a confirmation page for removal of selected items. If you are sure, click the button to continue with the removal.
   

You should try and use all of your 5 free audio track spaces in your storefront. Repeat the Add Content process with your audio tracks so that you end up with 5 PRODUCT mp3s with 5 SAMPLE mp3s if you desire.
