Introduction

Congratulations on signing up as you will soon be able to sell your digital music directly to your fans from your own website! We provide an easy to implement and manage e-commerce storefront for musicians and artists (Sellers). The storefront consists of an e-commerce enabled media player (Digital Storefront Media Player or DSMP) that can be embedded into any web page you can be edit. The player allows music fans (Buyers) who visit the artists' website to sample and buy music. The player can be implemented in a cut-n-paste method, in much the same way many web pages are edited everyday at social networking sites such as MySpace™, Friendster™, or Tagworld™ for example. The player will display whichever tracks or albums you upload through XYZmp3's Backstage Artist Management System (BAMS). When you sign up with us, you need to log in to the website and then you are directed to the Backstage Artist Management System. There you can upload your artist, album, and track data as well as an album cover or artist picture.

The Basics:

  • Sign up at www.XYZmp3.com
  • Create your mp3s (SAMPLE and PRODUCT versions)
  • Log in at www.XYZmp3.com
  • Edit your artist info and upload your artist photo
  • Upload your mp3s (SAMPLE and PRODUCT versions)
  • Copy and paste your Digital Storefront Media Player html code to your website or webpage on a social networking site
  • Sell mp3s via the player and we track your sales
  • Get paid monthly via the payment method you selected on signup
  • Review Sales reports monthly via email (live sales reports available soon in the Backstage Artist Management System)
